I am as they say a true "Florida Native," born and raised along the Gulf Coast of Florida. I can't remember a time when Art and Nature weren't a guiding force in my life. Capturing the Spirit of Florida Wildlife, is the Inspiration for my Watercolor paintings. My training in Art includes: Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, St. Petersburg College, and later earning my Bachelor's Degree at the University of South Florida in Visual and Vocational Art Education. I have been teaching Art at the High School level for the past 26 years. By showing my love for art by both teaching as well as producing art, my hope is that I will give my students a deeper insight into the satisfaction of being a practicing artist.
