Jon Ren’s passion for drawing and painting began as a young boy. He was greatly influenced by his father, Chuck Ren, and driven by his own natural ability. After graduating from the Art Institute of Colorado in 1990, Jon began his career as an artist creating team posters for the NFL . Jon’s works include a variety of subject matter which have been featured on collector plate series and limited edition prints. His father’s influence is evident in Jon’s Native American pieces. Jon’s love of wildlife prevails in almost every piece Jon creates and remains his favorite subject matter. He recently won the Timber Wolf Alliance 2007 Regional Wolf Awareness Week Poster competition. He also placed 2nd in the 2009 North Carolina Duck Stamp contest. His originals are available in galleries and auctions across the nation including Altermann Galleries, Wild Wings, Auction in Santa Fe and March in Montana. His work is available in print through Wild Wings.
