For Keri I would like to thank a dear friend of mine for encouraging the artwork I do. Her name is Keri and I owe her a great deal for without her my work would not have beed created. Here's to you Keri, ....a very special person to me indeed.

My Passion for Art ------------------- I guess I have never known a time when the creation of art has not been paramount in my life. I was never any good at Maths or English and even have a certain amount of dyslexia, but when it comes to Drama, Music and especially Art, there can be no dobt. This is where I belong. One of the things I am frequently asked is : ....Where do you get your ideas from ?? The answer, though not so very simple, is this. I seem to have an extremely creative imagination and my soul teams with imagery. Like a silent film full of shapes and colours; ...and together with the things I see around me, these works of art flow from the fountain of living imagination I am bless to find within me.

Productivity -------------- It is not un-common for me to create a new piece every two weeks or so and in fact, since Nov 2005 up until now (Mar-07) I have created no less than 28 individual works so I guess you could therefore say that I am a somewhat prolific producer of art. One peice entitled "HANOREXIA" took me three time longer to finish than any other, and for those of you interested enough to want to know more about this, then you should look it up on my website and see if you can figure out why. You can always email me of course if you want to know for sure.

Education --------- My first school was a nursery in Harrogate and after this I attended pre-prep at Rosshall Public School before going on to junior school there too. At the age of 11 I attended a state school where I remained until my departure at 16 years of age.

My Youth --------- I spend the first two years in doss houses and on the streets, and yes this was due to family problems and an inability to conform the way those around me thought I should. Eventually I left England and travelled throughout Europe visiting all mannor of places, mainly Denmark, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy.

Further Education ----------------- During this time I actually studied Technical drawing with a view to becoming an architect, but I couldnt quite get used to being told what to draw and how to sraw it. after some ten years or so, and having learned to speak German as fluently as they do, I returned to the Uk and attended Bristol University studying Community Art until the course was completed. So now I was qualified to actually teach creative imagination to anyone in any walk of life that wanted to learn such skills.

Progress -------- Unfortunately, after that, and until 2005 I bacame distracted from my creative nature setting up a company which I owned and ran and although I understand the merits of learning to organise something in my capacity as a Company Director, i felt un happy and couldnt understand what this was all about. Where was my art, where was my creativity, and why was I not as happy as I had been before. So I sold the business and have dedicated my life to the artist within me.

The Future ---------- I have absolutely no plans to leave this way of life again, come what may. I would prefer to be content with what little I have and the calling that mean so much to me than to continue to struggle for a mortgage, 2.4 children, and a new car every two years doing a job that doesnt fulfill me. So today here I am, an emerging artist, and though until now I have not exhibited much I know that with your support and genuine belief in the quality of my work my decision to dedicate my life to this brave adventure will well and truly be justified... Thank you so much for reading my profile and... ......"watch this space"
