Untitled

Watermarked Image This photograph depicts more than just a normal everyday scene; Through the Looking Glass has a range of different perspectives connected with it. Taken in my local art gallery I began thinking about Agoraphobia, the fear of going outside and the fact that people suffer from this. I wanted to photograph something that was taken from the inside looking outside which portrayed something that was much more interesting, something that is much bigger and better, wanting to go out but having the feeling that something is holding you back. With this concept in mind i also started to think about the dreams and desires I have in life and connecting this with the photograph, the inside where there’s no desire or motivation to make it happen whereas if i make the most of the opportunities given to me, i can take the step to go outside and have the chance to make them happen.
