A lovely wetland plant, Sagittaria latifolia has many names: arrowhead, wapato, Indian potato or duck potato. The leaves are shaped like arrowheads and the tubers were eaten by indigenous people, raw, cooked or dried and ground for flour. White Rock Lake, Dallas, Texas
