This egret is chasing a small school of minnows in a retention pond near my house in Central Florida. This image was captured using a fixed F8 mirror lens therefore the no depth of field flat appearance. Frankly, it is not tack-sharp but since the object of the composition is flight and form it is not required. There are two sizes to print this image for framing and hanging on a wall, any other size would emphasize the fuzziness and would be drastic cropping and make it disappointing.
