Artist Reply: Thank you for your comment. This lion is a very pampered at the San Diego wild animal park associated with The San Diego Zoo. The lions and tigers in Las Vegas in Roy & Sigfrids Secret Garden look like they have their hair conditioned and blown dry and fed the very best steak. In nature and many zoos the big cats are very scraggly looking.
