MOUNTAINPEAKS by RENEE NEMEROV

Born in New York City. Studied art with Rufino Tamayo at Dalton, Camillo Egas at The New School, and Jean Liberte at the Art Students Leagueall in New York City. Also received art training from Robert Friemark and Guy Pallazola at the Crystal Lake Art Center, Frankfort, Michigan, and from the Swiss impressionist, Hanseggar. Taught sculpture at Interlochen National Music Camp, Interlochen, Michigan. A painter and sculptor, the fluid lines characteristic of her style are sometimes organized into abstract compositions, but more often she avoids the purely non- objective and is primarily concerned with conveying the emotional essence of a subject or landscape through form and color. She assisted her late husband Roy Sparkia in designing and creating the Empire State Building illuminated panels depicting the 7 wonders of the world, and the 8ththe Empire State Building. These 5 x 7 crystal resin and stained glass panels were installed in the lobby in 1963. Renee Nemerov is the daughter of artist David Nemerov, sister of Howard Nemerov, former Poet Laureate of the United States, and noted photographer Diane Arbus. She is now married to artist Tom Brown.

We are all individual with our own style who is to say what is needed in a piece of artwork !!! is it not the individual who painted it to paint the way they want .... Art is individual from that one Artist their spirit is in that artworkl .. !!!!...if we all painted the same way it would not be ART......ratings and comments are good ...but they should take note that its not their work or style ...but constantly i see artists giving lowball marks for work like this its not fair !!!!! who is to say that their art is better or they know the right way?? there is no right way in ART ...Just that individulas Creation...I think that is creativity and style THAT IS FREE FORM ART >>>>>> I LOVE YOUR WORK RENEE AND ITS UNIQUE AND INDIVIDUAL GREAT WORK :)
