This is a gathering of ibis, egrets and an occasional wood stork, at the pond behind my house in Central Florida. It was shot with a new 500mm mirror lens I recently purchased. Notice that there is very little depth of field on a fixed f8 lens so things are not sharp from edge to edge only in the center of the focus field but if held very still one can get it sharp enough to look reasonably sharp.
