In the luminosity series, I try to portray the luminosity of the skies, and everything they touch, painting in layers of colour. A ‘wet on wet’ technique effectively blends the acrylics, adds depth to the canvas, and evokes time and space. Mist is painted on 7/8" deep canvas, and is gallery wrapped. As such, there is no need for framing unless you so desire. The colours of the painting continue over the edges of the canvas on all four sides.
