Disappointment and Consolation

This is a painting that I did from a photograph my son took of a group of people who had been working for the election of their candidate and were listening to his concession speech with sadness and disappointment.

Artist Reply: Thank you very much for the wonderful comments on my painting, I guess I should be nicer to it but it was such a PIA to complete..some of the smaller faces didn't turn out as well as I had wanted, but I do appreciate the good words :)
