Artist Reply: I did this drawing just one year after Elvis "left the building", so to speak, and sold them to the souvenir shops across the street from Graceland Mansion. It was a real carnival-like atmosphere then, until Graceland Enterprises took over. I knew Elvis' mom and dad - they were regular customers of my dad's hardware store down the street from Graceland.
