Ron Hartree, as well as being a great artist, ran an art school for a number of years in Newcastle, NSW, Australia. The school was for all ages, all abilities and became an influence on a whole generation of young people. Ron acted, as mentor, friend and adviser to the art community and was always ready to provide a support and advice
