We went to a outdoor second world war display to-day,and as a young woman came by dressed in 194os style pushing a 1940s pram with a doll in a gas mask.I said ....I never had one of those gas masks or even a pram .we could not afford it.I was kept in a drawer and as the bombs fell ,my mother just used to close the drawer with me in it.(true)...She just said oh really and moved on quickly, muttering something like boring old fart.My wife then berated me as well..Sorry for rambling Good wishes Peter
