This looks like a really emotional piece with the rough, irrigular wall texture and bars on the windows. My eyes then lead to the old lady in red. Is she sleeping or possibly reading? I think she's probably just thinking, p#@&ing the time. Very interesting artwork to me. Great job!

Mr. Higgins, you have managed to capture this scene in a way that draws us into the painting. You can't help but feel this person's isolation. The Bars are an amazing touch. WONDERFUL.
