The female goose is gently turning her eggs, while the male stands guard. I don't know if the egg/s ever hatched or not, the next time I got there they were gone.

saw about 40 of these yesterday in field here,did not have my camera of course,will see if there today,very nice shot.

Artist Reply: They are every where here. Every where you go you step in something they left behind. They really are such beautiful birds though, but they can be vicious when they are protecting the young!
