The final character design sketch, shortly before I began writing and drawing the first issue. The final appearance of my title hero looks considerably different than some of the earlier drawings I created at the original inception. The final version is much cuter, almost Pixar-esque, with anime eyes and a simple silhouette. Comments on some of my earlier designs were that he looked "villain-like", "Alien-esque" or "too mysterious". Since this is an all-ages comic, I then decided to go in a lighter, more kinetic direction. I'm happy with the final design overall...
