It is finished with 3 coats of gloss varnish. I love Rainbows - to me they are not just colourful & peaceful to look at. But they also represent "new beginnings" and "God's faithfulness" The rainbow first appeared in the Bible after the rains ceased and was to signify to Noah a "new beginning".
