Nyáre Telemnírion-Longing

YAY!!! I'm so happy ^^ at last after more than a year I've completed a picture I'm quite content with. the lady in the pic is from my fairytale Nyare Telemnirion (elvish for Legend of the Silver Tears) which I illustrated 5 years ago for my art class. she is the daughter of the earth spirits, Laurelin Elenindis (her first name meaning - once more in elvish - song of gold), who dwells alone in the forest often spending the nights at the shore of Lomelinya (lake of night) always waiting for some stupid elf to stumble by and entertain her ^^ just kidding...she's very lonely, in fact (yes, her "parents" eventually forgot to create someone else besides HER). well, as the story goes, Elenion-an immortal prince who lives among the stars (blabla, I think I explained at least a part of the story in my earlier work "The Lovers" -_-) spots her from his high towers of Fanyamar (means home of the clouds) and falls in love with Laurelin and so on and so forth...so in this scene she's still longing for another living being at her side (water spirits and talking trees obviously aren't that entertainig in the long run)...oh, and by the way, the little elvish building in the background is supposed to be fanyamar...which apparently is up in the sky and not down on earth but well...
