Artist Reply: it was actually pretty simple, if time-consuming. i took a stock photo for the horse, and used Paint Shop Pro 7 to make the background. combination of three textures that come with the program, with an overlay of the swirly-thing, which was made with streaks of colors "warped" into the swirls. ^_^
