Fourth of a series of architectural elevation sketches I am currently working on called "Stratospheric Real Estate". For the most part they are pen & ink drawings on paper illustrating futuristic stratospheric architecture. I draw my inspiration from a variety of sources including (but not limited to) 1930s Futurism, 1940s and 50s B-movies, a certain 1960s Hanna Barbera animated series, water towers, world renown Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer as well as good old fashioned human imagination. *Here I pay tribute to four Space Age designs far ahead of their times. Starting in the lower left: London's Millennium Dome, St. Louis' Gateway Arch, Sputnik and Toronto's CN Tower
