Mrs. Goldfinch having breakfast

This beautiful little Goldfinch lives in my ally in my neighbor's yard with about 10 of her closest relatives. The thistles are growing in the ally and they love them. I watched several days until I got some good shots. Photo by Sharon Lee, copyright 2009.
