Mountain Buttercup are short, hairless perennials in the Ranunculaceae family. They are also known as Utah Buttercup. Mountain Buttercup can be found here in South central Alaska growing in the alpine tundra. This picture of Mountain Buttercup was taken near Little Susitna river in Hatcher Pass, AK
