And in the end, there was only me. It wouldn't have been so bad if it was only your father and I paying for our mistakes... ...but you... On the other side of that glassy screen I told you to stay strong, be proud and keep your head up - even though I saw in your eyes that you were hurting. If you had just told me I would never have said such foolish words, but you smiled slightly and lied to protect our feelings, then there was me; willing to believe it.
