This peice is a very worthy drawing. Great attention to detail, and maintains the rustic feel throughout. The emotion of the face, the border beneath it, and the shading of the Ace of Spades behind it maintain a unity of feeling that is often missing... The intentional lack of 'finesse' give this peice a genuine appearance that too often artists try to over-polish. This was finished at just the right point in its development.
