BALTHUS AND BROWN (2009)

Balthus was an eccentric painter, who specialized in curious views of young women. He was long considered an outsider artist, but achieved some notoriety in later life. He is greatly admired by a contemporary writer (and artist), Terri Brown-Davidson. I wanted to unite the two in a single canvas. Isn't it everyone's dream to be united with those that they love and admire.
