Ok... a strange drawing, I know. From my point of view, a point of view of a European, the election of the US president was something almost totally crazy. I almost got the impression that the president should be something more than just a man who runs the country, it resembles more of a savior and a popstar in one. And I find it just ridiculous that even the media stars are involved in the election campaign to such a degree that it nearly doesn’t look normal. I found the reference picture for this drawing in a Slovak tabloid, but I’ve also seen the video with her and I decided to draw the picture, although the video was rather ....strange, but 1. I like Christina’s voice, even though her last album was not exactly my cup of tea. And 2. I generally like flags But I would like to know one thing – if Christina doesn’t think that she’s actually sort of abused her own son for a campaign... Indeed, I think it’s simply a nice picture of motherhood. What do you think? Greetings to my friends in the U.S.

Great drawing, however I do think that sometimes stars don't think about what they might be doing to their children when they involve them in public display. To have the stars involved showed me more of an awakening in their awareness about a country that has helped make them wealthy beyond most citizens' measure. Truthfully, it made no difference to me whose side they chose, but I am glad they recognized that there had to be a change. As a nation, I felt the most powerful individuals were selling us out for personal gain. Hopefully, we will get back our dignity. Some will disagree, but I think our President .....experienced or not, should not have been President.
Artist Reply:   hello!thank you for (hopefully) honest comment, I like that kind of comments that give me something to think about, you know. hard to disagree or agree with you, since I am and I have never been a citizen of the US. Although I have always been interested in politics of the country, since I study English as an interpreter. there is nothing left for me only to wish you luck with the one you have chosen. maybe there is a change coming, maybe not, but it is just a question of time. anyway, thank you for the comment again :) and btw, have a happy new year :)

This is a terrific drawing, Linda!! As for the politics of this country...many of us don't understand how "so called celebraties" should influence our decisions. We are all very glad when all the fal-der-al is finished. I hope that Obama will take this country in a more realistic direction where ALL of her people are created equal.... :) Best to you in the New Year, my friend!!
Artist Reply:   Thank you for such great comment. I really appreciate it! And I love any kind of discussion about politics :D you know, the USA don´t have the best name abroad, so Obama should really try now to improve it;) and yes, all the best in the new year :) may it be filled with happiness only :)
