Atlantic

Acrylics on paper (14 x 10 inches). One of the joys of the recent awful weather here in Co. Mayo is seeing scenes like this. Under the heavy skies, the Atlantic waters around Clew Bay, take on the most wonderful jade green tones, which contrast beautifully with the foaming white spray, as the waves hit the rocky shores.

Fabulous seascape Jacki. I really like the different color tones in the rocks, you did a great job with those, great job with the water too, water is hard to paint.

Artist Reply: Thanks a million Holly................I don't think I will ever get water totally "right"..the bit I was most pleased with in the whole painting was that little "peak" of water on the right :o))
