When a Kingdom is ruled by a mad king, madness will prevail. It seems that every wizard who had a failed experiment, turned it lose in the great waste. So not only was the Old Kingdom over run with giant kinds, but creatures un heard off roomed the great waste. The Mad King knew it would take a mad man to watch over that hell spawned place, and he knew just the mad man for the job. Thus did Luther Airendale get that Rangers Posting. He was as mad and as vicious as anything the waste had to offer.
