The Horse's Ass Painting: a Self-Portrait

I see this as a regretful yet tender and loving look into my own soul and spirit. The little dog-creatures give me wise advice, the rearing horse trumpets a warning to think before I speak and act; and in the end, I think, the horse's butt in the entry-arch is just THERE, saying that, no matter what, we just ARE.

I love "seeing" this side of you Eileen. It's a deep look and a colorful one at that. mgmauldin

I had to laugh when I read the title. Your description summed it up for me. There is so much truth in that about even myself. What an awesome painting.

I love this one, too. Love the play on words as it relates to the picture. I really appreciate your use of watercolor--the delicacy, colors, no heavy handedness, and transparency of it. Great work!
