It was close to sunset, I was poking around in my garden, just under the dogwood tree. They flew in over my head, mom went for the feeder and began stuffing her face full of seeds, the baby took to a branch just above her and waited quietly, until mom landed up beside him, then the fuss began. I had the camera close by, she let me take a few shots before flying up where I couldn't see them in the branches. Taken in my backyard, Mission, B.C.

it is as if i took this picture myself. sparrows. ive taken 10,000 pictures of them this last year. great shot. all ya had to do was be there and look around you. nice. it's life. parent baby. the beat will go on.............
