THANK YOU, MY DEAR FRIENDS, FOR MAKING "MAJESTIC REFLECTIONS" THE #1 TOP 10 IN FINE ART ON 6/28/08!! :) *************************************** Hello Friends ... This is a 16 X 20 oil that was one of my very FIRST paintings! I have hesitated posting this one because it was never one of my favorite works. I keep thinking I will fix what I don't like but I guess I would rather put my time in on a NEW painting!! :) So...here it is! Thank you so much for looking and have a wonderful weekend!!! Blessings to all!

Hello Ruth my name is Craig Cantrell'this is very beautiful!!

Artist Reply: Hi Craig...thanks so much for your awesome comment on my work. Unfortunately, I lost this painting in a house fire last Thanksgiving. Actually, I lost a whole wall of paintings...some with ribbons! :( We are one month away from moving back into our rebuilt house. Yeah!! Have a great weekend and thanks again!

I'm glad you didn't touch this one! Now and then I teach, and like my own teachers, encourage newer painters to keep their early paintings as "benchmarks". If there's anything--or things-- you don't like about it, it's good to use what you learned to improve on the next one. However, I hope you understand its strengths of this lovely painting and include them all your art. No wonder this painting was so well-received!

Artist Reply: Sorry I'm so late in responding but I have been nursing an arthritic wrist which has rebelled at "mousing" anymore lately!! LOL Thank you so much, Carolyn, for the wonderful feedback!! It was something I needed to be reminded of and I appreciate your wonderful support and encouragement!! God Bless!!
