Pecatonica River Wisconsin (plein air art)

I went to a plein air painting day and this is the first landscape I have ever painted, it sold to another artist that day...I liked the way it turned out for my first try. SOLD

Plein air makes the artist be loose and spontaneous. The light is constantly changing and the shadows shift while you paint. It's a great and frustrating experience. The artistic fellowship is a lot of fun if you have a group.
