"...Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces..." Psalm 122 (as translated in the King James Bible). Sadly when I ask myself the Peace of Jerusalem I'm not sure I like the answer I find. Jerusalem these days loses sixteen thousand citizens every year. Most born Jerusalemites my age have long left the city to seek better jobs and a richer cultural environment near the Tel-Aviv metropolis.
