Floral Tapestry

Los Angeles has many canyons with beautiful flowers and majestic trees, stunning beaches with magnificent sunsets, deserts and mountains with stunning flora and fauna all without a short distance of each other. It is always amazing to see unexpected beauty when surrounded by destinations that provide the viewer with unparralled beauty. Of course I am biased as a LA resident all my life;however it is no surprise that many people love living in California for its climate and beauty. A few days ago driving on a canyon road, I saw pots of flowers next to a storm drain that seemed to have been planted by a resident of Benedict Canyon in Beverly Hills. “In this world we walk on the roof of hell gazing at flowers.” Issa (1763-1827) Japanese Haiku Poet
