Artist Reply: Hi Margaret~ When I first left NYC to live in the country, I stopped by this old barn as I headed for town and initially did a pencil sketch, then pen & ink and later a water color wash. My biggest regret is it was drawn on typing paper and the edges have since frayed. I have been able to scan and fix it digitally and transform it into a few different pics now, but this was the scan of the original with just the edges cleaned.
Artist Reply: Thankyou~ This unretouched scan is of the original illustration but shows age, as it was done back in 1987 before I had a computer or could edit. I sort of liked it however so made no changes on this version.I also have plain pen &ink version that I was able to clean up using software.
This is a very awesome drawing/painting, Ave! Wow!
Artist Reply: Thankyou Sharon. This one I actually did with a pen taped to my hand when it was paralyzed from an accident. A few years later I had some microsurgery that allowed me to hold a pen without tape!
