Artist Reply: Really? I've always wanted to do a bird of paradise and just recently found some growing in the landscaping around our condo in Florida. I'm working on a commission right now where the client loves the painting but wants it bigger -- soooo I'm recreating it about twice size. I had hoped to talk them into expanding the composition a bit but they want it just like they see it in the smaller version :( Oh well gotta keep the client happy eh? LOL I'm glad you like it though! Makes me proud. :)
