Oil on canvas. Original sold. 35 x 39 in. 2004. How many times have you undressed your heart? How many ones have you allowed to see what you are? Who does really know you? Perhaps do you know yourself? Have you afforded to know about you? Do you know of what you are able? Up to where can you go? Have you allowed someone to see inside you? Have you opened yourself? Why to leave that heart like a seed, hard, with shell... resistant to the blows, but closed for fear of suffering? Why not to allow that this heart is a lovely flower, open, beautiful but delicate, exposed to the inclemencies of climate, but, ready to face them for "living"...? The one who does not dare to love is a seed. The one who dares to love is a flower... All rights reserved.

So true, your words and your strong image, Mara. We are taught to remain seeds you know; we are born to flower. Love the 'apple/heart.'Hiromi Green 17 Mar 2008
I love your imaginative. This is strong work and your words are touch to my heart. We said, "Shikisokuzeku" which mean is " All visible things are vain" in Buddhism. Great work, Mara.
