White Horses

Acrylics on paper. This is a painting way out of my normal comfort zone. I have a problem with horses - they always seem to look like dragons when I paint them! However, I wanted to do this in memory of my late mother. As a child, she always used to ask me if I could see the white horses when we were at the seaside. Often times now, when I watch the wild Atlantic, I do see the white horses and I feel my Mum by my side.

These horses don't look like dragons! They're wonderful, wild, & free!
