Mermaid Mardis Gras

I haven't been doing very much original art right now - I've been focussing on print sales and basically succumbing to those rotten mid winter blues! But here is a Mardis Gras mermaid for your viewing pleasure! A lot of work went into this one! A lot goes into all my pieces but this one felt like more for some reason! Maybe it was all those swirls in her headpiece! The traditional colours of New Orleans Mardis Gras are Purple, Green, and Gold so I've incorporated all three in this piece!
