Valary the Volvo

Valary the Volvo, Not many machines have earned a name but this one did. Bought brand new in 1961, taken good care of for the next 30 years by the same owner, I bought it with 17k miles, drove it everyday for 4 years and passed it on to my sister who is also an artist that saw the real beauty in this machine. It still lives today.

1961 was a good year Tim, this old Volvo Amazon is the same age as myself. I'd like to think I'm in better condition but who knows. I do like old cars & they can be restored to as new unlike us.

Artist Reply: This is wonderful, This car does live now and has lived a great life with more memories than she can carry. She experienced life, love and many happy miles. She may not leave the farm anymore but she has a prominent place in History. She lives as long as I do. Thank You for your thoughts.
