Alexandrian Diptych

This is the combined work of Father Thompson and General Banks. One represents the spiritual builder, the other the spirit of destruction and greed.

Yes David! I agree with Kathy! These paintings are even more dynamic and charismatic now that they form a diptych. They do compliment each other and have their very own special fascination (especially for me). Love 'em!

I love the way these two pieces play off each other. My eyes are being bounced back and forth and it feels like a battle to choose. Ultimately I rest on the eyes of Father Thompson. Your paintings are always very dynamic, but I am especially enjoying the diptychs, David. I always feel I have learned something about painting and about our world when I take time to explore your work.
