Scrub-Jays

Two friendly scrub-jays in their characteristic diving swooping flight. A scrub is one of my favorite plant communities, with its rare and striking wildflowers, pure quartz sand, jays that almost always come out to say hello when you call to them, and of course the ever-present smell of oak and rosemary.
