I admire your work David, especially your vivid use of color. Your strong, almost, folk approach holds so much fascination for me.

Happy New year to you and Nicole David! This is a bold and authoritative painting that caries an important message carried by the strong and vibrant colours, judging by the historical text. I don't know the history and legend of Alexandria, Louisianna but I do know I love your allegorical paintings as they give such pleasure and impart such knowledge. Love the slave symbolism and the burning flame of freedom. Like the heart of a good man too! Brilliant artwork in your own inimitable style!
