I like this painting of Jerry Betters very much. It captures the true essence of Jerry. He had a very interesting life, and I hope someone will write a book about him. I met him back in the 1970s when he had those great danes. He liked the ladies and he would give me a ride to work now and then when he saw me waiting for my bus on Penn Avenue. He always had a Great Dane dog in the back seat. This painting would make a nice cover for a biography of Jerry's life. I hope he's having fun in heaven with Billy, and Frank, and Sammy and all those great singers who have passed on. My condolences to his family. Sincerely, Eloise
