Father and son...Entity's

My son painted me a picture and i dont like to waste paint. So when he had blobs of paint left over i gave him this canvas to smear whatever he had left unused. I told him that we could do this piece together. He basically smeared all the paint together into a purpley bluey mud color and scribbled the remnants on. I let the blob dry.He had gone back to his mothers when i finally decided it was time to add my part. His contribution is the dark colors and mine is the surrounding reds and yellows. Out of anything i have ever done in my life this is one of my favorites, I wouldnt sell this painting for all the money on the planet, it has become my new favorite creation. He is only seven so i have plenty of time to make more pieces like this. Father and son team effort.

this was so intriguing when i first saw it, and even more so after i read how it was made. theres always a peaceful special place between parent and child, even when were surrounded by chaos, that no one can penetrate. i luv when painting speak to me.
