This is the latest in my popular 'Poppy Collection'Created in acrylic and melted wax this hugh piece of art is 32 in x 40 in and is made up of 4 staple free box canvas. I have painted it in many thin layers of acrylic paint over some special impasto medium to give it soem texture.There are many different shades of cerises and pinks and also a tiny touch of yellow.I have then highlighted parts of it with a beautiful gold powder.The centre of the poppy is created using a special encaustic wax that is melted using an iron to give a textured effect. It is then finished with 3 coats of varnish to protect it. Its a real statment for the modern ,contempory home. The price is £300 including delivery in UK . If you are outside uk please get in touch.
