The Cost of War

This photograph was taken at an exhibit entitled, "Eyes Wide Open". It is a traveling exhibit designed to bring home the reality of what war costs us in terms of lives. The life of every Alaskan soldier is represented by a pair of army boots while the casualties and the lives lost of ordinary civilians is respesented by every day shoes. I hope this photo causes you to pause and reflect.
