I don't know why, but I felt like putting this together in attempt to say something about American values. The flag with smoking industrial buildings, bombs and dollar signs; the girls emaciated figure hinting at both poverty and self image, giving the peace sign as a way to say "Jesus what are we doing to ourselves?" American Pieces was an easy and beautiful way for me to speak out against the direction America is going in.
