This one is a great valentines day reminder! Im sorry I never got to know my grandfathers. There is much we can learn from the generations of our relatives.

This is interesting---I see an 'afghan' reference, what does that mean? These are great images in this series--I love the linework! -Kerra

Artist Reply: Afghan refers to a woven throw or coverlet. Similar in size and shape to a blanket but more coarsely woven with designs, scenes, or patterns woven into the item. I was an artist/designer in Hendersonvillr, NC and had 100s of my drsigns turned into afghans. I'm glad tou liked this work.
